   It’s summer. Zoom and Zip swim in the lake. They are happy. “I like summer,” says Zip.　　

“Why do you like summer?” asks Zoom. “Because I can swim in the lake.”　　

   It’s fall. Zoom and Zip go hiking. They eat a lot.　　

   Winter comes. Zoom and Zip don’t skate. They sleep.　　

   Spring comes. Zoom and Zip wake up. They fly kites. “I like winter,” says Zoom. “Why do you like winter?” asks Zip. “Because I can sleep a long time.”

                     Busy Bear and Lazy Bear　　

   Busy Bear and Lazy Bear are good friends. They play in the garden. It’s spring. They are very happy.” I like spring.” says Busy Bear. “Why do you like spring?” asks Lazy Bear. “Because I can plant apple trees.”　　

Summer comes. Busy Bear waters his apple trees. Lazy Bear swims in the lake.　　

It’s fall. Busy Bear eats Bear many apples and put some apples in his house. But Lazy Bear flies kites and climbs mountains. “My favourite season is fall.” says Lazy Bear. “Why do you like fall best?” asks Busy Bear. “Because it’s cool and windy. I can fly kites and climb mountains.”　　

Winter comes, Busy Bear goes to sleep. But Lazy Bear wakes up. He is very hungry. He has nothing to eat.

1.重点：听、说、读、写句子： Why do you like summer? Because I can swim in the lake.

 2.难点：because的理解与运用， a lot, wake up, sleep 的理解与认读，It’s summer.的理解。

四．教学步骤　　

Step 1.Warm-up　　

Talk about the favorite season and the reason.　　

Q:---what’s your favorite season?/Which season do you like best?　　

  ---…　　

  ---Why?　　

  ---Because…　　

Step 2.Presentation　　

1. Show a group of pictures, make Ss look carefully and say which season each 　　

picture describes. 　　

2. Show the passage. Make Ss read the general questions before reading.　　

Step 3.Sceam the passage　　

1. Make Ss read the passage quickly and try to catch the main idea of the passage.　　

Make Ss find the answers from the passage.　　

Qs: (1) Do Zoom and Zip swim in summer?

2. Let one or two Ss write the answers on Bb.

1. Read the passage carefully. Try to catch the details in each paragraph and find the difficulties.
